What is Risography?
The RISO printer was manufactured by the Riso Kagaku Corporation in Tokyo, Japan and designed mainly for high-volume photocopying and printing in offices. The power of the RISO printer is that it can print a large number of papers in high quality at a low cost.
The RISO printer has recently experienced a resurgence with artists because of its ability to push the limits of artistic printing. The charm of a riso-printed artwork lies in its charming texture, retro look and intense, vibrant colors.
What does WarshaGraph provide?
At WarshaGraph, you can print your own posters, flyers, zines, invitations, comics, illustrations and more!
The print room hosts an advanced workshop on riso-printing which also includes a studio tour.
The studio also invites guest artists on a weekly basis.
