This is a series of tailoring workshop conducted as a group with four students. You can either book and invite three of your friends, or join a new group and meet people!
Join professional textile artist, Tasneem Husain, at Fakhri Arts Studio for a comprehensive sewing workshop on fashion and tailoring.
This is a 3-month workshop covering 24 sessions. You can agree on timing/days by contacting the instructor on 99205139.
In this workshop, you will learn:
-Sewing tips and techniques
-Economical method of fabric shearing
3)Measuring techniques from body to body.
-Study of fabric with dimensions.
-Drafting master patterns and redrafting to design new styles.
The projects cover various garments such as:
Bottoms (trousers, palazzo, skin tight etc.)
Tops (such as collared shirts, full dresses, specific necklines, sleeves.)
Skirts (such as ruffled, pencil, tulip, mini, pleated and more).
Ladies blazers and coats.
Machine embroidery.
